Connect
Decide how users meet your agent, configure the chat surface, and control where embeds are allowed.

Connect page
The Connect page is where you generate embeds. Choose a floating chat bubble or an inline iframe depending on your site layout.
Chat bubble embed
- Select Chat Bubble as the embed type.
- Define allowed origins (comma-separated domains). Empty means it only works on the current site.
- Click Create Embed to generate a script, then paste it into your HTML to display the floating widget.
Iframe embed
- Choose Iframe when you need the chat inside a specific section.
- Copy the script or iframe code straight from the dashboard.
- Paste it into the head, before </body>, or within a dedicated container.
Chat interface settings
- Display Name and Initial Messages for greetings.
- Suggested Messages and Message Placeholder to guide users.
- Collect User Feedback toggles thumbs-up or thumbs-down.
- Regenerate Messages to retry answers and Dismissible Notice for banners.
- Footer controls for disclaimers or policy links.
- Initial message pop-ups to time proactive nudges.

Style customization
- Switch between light and dark themes.
- Upload profile pictures and chat icons.
- Pick user message colors and chat bubble hues to match your brand.
- Align the chat bubble button wherever it best fits your layout.

Security modes
Use Public Access when anyone should reach the chat.
Use Private Access for admins-only testing—private agents disappear from embeds until re-enabled.
