Slack Integration

Slack integration lets your team interact with a GetMyAI agent directly inside Slack. Instead of switching tools or searching through documents, teammates can ask questions in Slack and receive accurate, context-aware responses in real time.

Once connected, your GetMyAI agent can:

• Answer questions inside Slack channels or direct messages

• Respond using the same documents, links, and Q&A trained in the Dashboard

• Help teams access internal knowledge without leaving Slack

• Reduce repetitive internal questions for support, HR, or operations teams

Make sure the following are ready:

• You have access to a Slack workspace where you can add apps

• An AI agent has already  been created in your GetMyAI Dashboard

• The agent has been trained with documents, links, or Q&A

Step 1. Open Your AI Agent in the Dashboard

• From the Dashboard, select the AI agent you want to connect with Slack.

• In the left sidebar of the selected AI agent, click Connect.

• On the Slack integration card, click Install

•  Enter your Slack workspace URL and sign in to continue

•  Review the requested permissions and click Allow to complete the connection

• Open your Slack workspace and go to a channel where the bot is available.

• Type @your bot name followed by a question and send the message.

• The AI agent will reply directly in Slack, confirming that the integration is working

Use the Uninstall option in the Slack integration to revoke access instantly and stop the AI agent from responding in Slack.

After Slack is connected:

• Team members can message your AI agent directly in Slack

• Conversations are logged inside the Activity section in GetMyAI

• Unanswered questions are automatically flagged for improvement

• You can review conversations before checking Analytics

• Improvements can be made by adding answers or updating document
