Telegram Integration

Telegram integration helps your business support customers, teams, or communities directly inside chat, without asking users to switch to a website. Your AI Agent responds in Telegram using the same training and rules, and all conversations appear in the Activity section, where unanswered questions can be reviewed and improved in Improvement.

To connect Telegram with GetMyAI, you will need a bot token. This token is created using Telegram’s official tool, BotFather. Each bot has its own token, which GetMyAI uses only to send and receive messages. No technical knowledge is required.

Before starting, make sure you have a Telegram account, access to BotFather, an AI Agent in your GetMyAI Dashboard, and have uploaded documents or knowledge.

Step 1. Create a Telegram bot

• Open Telegram and start a chat with @BotFather

• Send /newbot, follow the setup steps, and copy the HTTP API token provided

• Open your GetMyAI Dashboard, go to Connect, and select the Telegram integration

• Click Connect, paste the BotFather token, and click on Connect

Find your bot in Telegram and send a message. The GetMyAI assistant replies in the same chat, using your trained content.

• Open your Telegram channel settings, add/promote the bot as an admin, and allow it to respond to questions in the group

Use the Uninstall option in the Telegram Integration to revoke access instantly or replace the token when needed.

After Telegram is connected:

• Users can message your AI Agent directly in Telegram

• Conversations are logged inside the Activity section in GetMyAI

• Unanswered questions are automatically flagged for improvement

• You can review conversations before checking Analytics

• Improvements can be made by adding answers or updating documents

Telegram becomes just like another channel where your AI Agent operates, using the same training, rules, and improvement flow as your website or other supported channels.
